About Us
Stone Roses handcrafted roses began budding in 1997 as an offshoot of a retail live rose business. The original polymer clay Stone Roses featured bloom centers containing semi-precious stones such as clear crystal, amethyst, and citrine. Over the years, new colors and styles evolved to complement the original "stone" roses.
The Renaissance/Medieval Faire circuit became the ideal setting for Stone Roses to grow and flourish. It was hard to miss the quaint "Old World" flower cart laden with colorful blossoms at well-established fairs in Boston, Florida (Ft. Lauderdale, Live Oak, Sarasota, Tampa Bay), Louisiana, Minnesota, New York (Tuxedo) and Texas (Scarborough, TRF-Waxahachie).
In 2006, Stone Roses owner Beth Ann planted permanent roots in Florida and continued to sell Stone Roses locally and through an online webstore. The business blossomed anew in 2007 when craft artist "Rose Jan" became the new owner of Stone Roses. And so the tradition of creating these unique, everblooming treasures continues...
