About Us

Stone Roses handcrafted roses began budding in 1997 as an offshoot of a retail live rose business. Created from polymer clay, the original Stone Roses featured bloom centers containing semi-precious stones such as clear crystal, amethyst, and citrine. Over the years, new colors and styles were added to the product line to complement the original "stone" roses.

Stone Roses found its niche on the Renaissance/Medieval Faire circuit throughout the northeastern and southern USA. Displayed on a distinctive Old World flower cart, sales of Stone Roses flourished at such well-known fairs as Scarborough (TX), the Texas RenFaire, New York Renaissance Festival (Tuxedo NY), Boston Renaissance Faire, Louisiana Renaissance Faire, and the Florida fairs in Tampa Bay, Sarasota, and Ft. Lauderdale.

In 2006, Stone Roses owner Beth Ann planted roots in Florida permanently and continued to sell Stone Roses locally and through an online webstore. The business blossomed anew in 2007 when craft artist "Rose Jan" became the new owner of Stone Roses. And so the tradition of creating these unique, everlasting treasures continues...
